Hey There

My name is Shelby, I'm a multidisciplinary artist living in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I was born and raised in the forests of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It was there where the seeds of my love for the simplest joys of the outdoors were planted. I am deeply inspired by textures among all landscapes. From lichen growing in the forested mountains to the way foam sits on top of an ocean wave on the coast.

My creations evoke many of the natural textures and elements our beautiful surroundings have to offer. Some of which include foraged treasures I've found outside.

My art forms range from fiber arts to collage work to mixed media hangings to photography. What’s consistent throughout all of my art forms are the the textures, layers, and movement seen in nature + filtered through a dreamlike aesthetic lens.
