Sooooo this shoot happened a couple of months ago. But better late than never amiright? Especially when I had the chance to collaborate with some of my favorite local artists!
Conner and Isabel with Fox Heron Collective painted this canvas backdrop. THEY PAINTED IT! My jaw actually did drop when they showed me their lovely piece of perfection hanging on the wall. They are truly some of the most talented gals that I know. Conner also has a magic touch with florals. She did all of the arrangements in this shoot! I wish they could live forever on that peacock chair because that combination is a dream. Annnnd in full spirit of the floral theme, you may notice there are fresh floral buds in the macrame mess hanging I created especially for this shoot! It was such a fun way of augmenting the life of one of my favorite piece of art.
The setting paired perfectly with photographer Jadie's raw and organic approach towards photo shoots. Jadie's art is unique because she often shoots in film as a way of encapsulating genuine moments. She is a firm believer that film expresses a softness and tone that simply can't be recreated through digital manipulation. When Jadie does shoot digitally she approaches the editing process with a minimalist attitude, choosing to stay true to the natural focus and colors in each photo. Is that refreshing or what?!
And who wouldn't be left completely stunned by our beautiful and talented model, Kaitlyn Towner?
I mean WOW. Seriously prepare to be memorized as you take a look through the photos from this shoot!
